Amgen Ireland’s Country Director takes on leadership role representing Ireland’s research-based biopharmaceutical industry.
Amgen is pleased to congratulate Caitríona Duggan, Country Director, Amgen Ireland, on her appointment as President of the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA).
IPHA represents Ireland’s research-based biopharmaceutical industry and works with stakeholders across healthcare and Government on issues that shape the future of medicines, innovation and patient care.
Caitríona’s appointment comes at an important time for the sector, as advances in science are creating new possibilities for people living with serious diseases and healthcare systems consider how best to enable patients to benefit from innovation.
As President, Caitríona will help represent the industry and support constructive collaboration across the healthcare community, with a focus on a strong life-sciences environment and on helping ensure patients can benefit from innovative medicines in a timely and sustainable way.

Caitríona brings extensive experience across the biopharmaceutical industry and has held leadership responsibilities within IPHA. Her appointment reflects her personal leadership and commitment to the wider life-sciences and healthcare community in Ireland.
